My ball on the left.
Me on the right.
Swimming in totally the wrong direction.
I had no idea where the ball had gone.
I was desperate to find it.
Kept swimming to the right.
Mother reckoned I got at least half way to the Isle of Wight.
I was desperate to find my ball.
No amount of mother yelling made me stop.
So mother had to wade in to above her waist to drag me out of the water to stop me behaving like a knob.
Then she had to go back and rescue my ball for me. . [trad. aut.] La mia palla a sinistra.

Nuotando nella direzione completamente sbagliata.
Non avevo idea di dove fosse finita la palla.
Ero disperato di trovarlo.
Continuava a nuotare verso destra.
Mamma pensava che fossi arrivato almeno a metà strada per l'Isola di Wight.
Ero disperato di trovare la mia palla.
Nessuna urla di madre mi ha fatto fermare.
Così mia madre ha dovuto entrare sopra la vita per trascinarmi fuori dall'acqua e impedirmi di comportarmi come una pazzola.
Poi ha dovuto tornare a salvarmi la palla.
